End the Military Aggression in Ukraine NGO Federation of Nepal (NFN) expresses serious concern to the attack of Russia against Ukraine. A military aggression by a nation against another sovereign nation and the civilians is against the United Nations Charter, international law and global peace. The civilian casualties caused by Russian attacks in the populated areas of Ukraine has resulted in loss of lives and grave humanitarian consequences. While the right to life has been violated, the conflict between the nations has also threatened war and violence beyond the two countries. Possible risk of spiralling militarization and nuclear weapons threatens global peace and order. As a leading civil society network in Nepal, NGO Federation of Nepal appeals to the President of Russia to stop attacks on Ukraine, declare immediate ceasefire and be committed to resolving the issues and disputes through peaceful dialogues. We also request the international community to stand against war in Ukraine and be committed to resolve disputes through peaceful negotiations. We also call for humanitarian support to the refugees and those needing humanitarian support as a result of the war. Our thoughts and sympathy are with the people of Ukraine. 7 March 2022 Arjun Bhattarai, Secretary General Ram Prasad Subedi, President
