What we collect and why
Contact form and enquiries
Your name, email address and message, so that NFN can reply. Visible to the staff who handle enquiries.
Newsletter
Your email address and your agreement to receive updates. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Member accounts and applications
Account email, organisation details and the documents an application needs. Only the district reviewer and central membership staff you are assigned to can see them.
Gunaso (grievances)
Confidential and for members only. Case details are never published and are never used for public statistics.
Civic Space reports
Confidential member reports. Only combined figures are published, and a figure is withheld unless at least five different organisations reported it.
What is public
The public directory lists only organisations that are active members and agreed to be listed. Entries marked “From NFN website listing” were taken from NFN’s own public website and have not yet been verified. Committee members appear with their names and roles only.
How it is protected
Staff have individual accounts with two-step sign-in for sensitive roles. What each person can see depends on their role and the district or office they are assigned to, and sensitive actions are recorded. Gunaso and Civic Space are kept separate from the membership and publishing tools.
Cookies
The site uses cookies only to keep you signed in and to protect forms. It does not use advertising or cross-site tracking.
How long we keep information
Retention and deletion periods have not yet been set by NFN governance. Until they are, records are kept and nothing is deleted automatically.
Your choices
You can ask what NFN holds about you, ask for a correction, withdraw consent to a public listing, or unsubscribe. Write to [email protected].
